Online Hypnotherapy for Habits
Some habits are hard to shift, even when you know you'd like to. You keep repeating them, then feel frustrated with yourself. I offer online Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy sessions in English and Polish to support people who want to change everyday habits and automatic behaviours.
What habits can look like
Habits take many forms. You might recognise some of these:
-
Nail biting or fidgeting when you're tense
-
Reaching for your phone without noticing
-
Putting things off, then feeling stressed
-
Falling back into the same unhelpful routine when you're tired or under pressure
-
Knowing what you'd like to do differently, but not doing it
-
Feeling frustrated with yourself for repeating it
Habits form because they do a job: they soothe, distract or make things feel easier in the moment. Understanding that job is often the first step towards change.
How Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy can support you
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) combines CBT-based techniques with hypnotherapy. In our sessions, we:
-
Understand the habit. We look at what triggers it, and what it does for you.
-
Use hypnosis. In a calm, focused state, we work with the automatic side of the habit.
-
Practise new responses. We plan for the tricky moments and try alternatives that suit you.
-
Review and adjust. We check what's working and refine your plan together.
I can't promise a particular result, because everyone responds differently. What I can offer is a calm, structured space and tools to work with.
What I can and can't help with
This page is about everyday habits. Change takes your involvement: hypnotherapy can support the process, but it doesn't do the work for you, and I can't promise a specific outcome. If you're struggling with addiction, please speak to your GP or a specialist service.
What working together looks like
We start with a free discovery call, where we talk about what's been happening and whether working together feels right. Sessions then take place online by private video call, usually weekly at the start. Where it helps, you'll be invited to practise simple exercises between sessions.
Is hypnotherapy right for changing habits?
Hypnotherapy works alongside medical care, not instead of it. If a habit is affecting your health or you're finding it very hard to stop, please speak to your GP as well.
Online sessions in English and Polish
I work in both English and Polish, so you can talk about what you're feeling in the language that feels most natural. All sessions are online, so you can join from a quiet room at home.
Questions about hypnotherapy for habits
Can hypnotherapy help me change habit?
It can support you alongside your own commitment, but it isn't a quick fix and I can't promise a specific outcome.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you're working with and what you'd like to change, so there isn't one number that fits everyone. We review progress together as we go, and nothing is rushed.
Which habits do you work with?
Everyday habits such as nail biting, skin picking, hair twirling, jaw clenching, emotional eating and automatic snacking, excessive phone use or social media use, procrastination and avoidance, repetitive checking etc.
If yours isn't listed, get in touch and we can talk it through.
Do you work with addictions?
No. If you're struggling with addiction, please speak to your GP or a specialist service.
