Online Hypnotherapy for Low Self-Esteem

A quiet inner voice that is rarely satisfied, even when things go well. If it's hard to feel good enough, you're not alone.

I offer online Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy sessions in English and Polish to support people who want to build a kinder relationship with themselves.

What low self-esteem can
feel like

Low self-esteem looks different for everyone. You might recognise some of these:

  • A harsh inner critic that's quick to point out what you did wrong

  • Doubting yourself, even when you've done well

  • Comparing yourself with others and feeling you fall short

  • Finding it hard to accept compliments

  • Putting others first, or struggling to say no

  • Feeling that you have to keep proving your worth

Low self-esteem often develops over time, shaped by experiences and messages we picked up along the way. That means it can be understood, and worked with.

How Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy can support you

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) combines CBT-based techniques with hypnotherapy. In our sessions, we:

  1. Understand where it comes from. We explore the beliefs about yourself that have been running in the background.

  2. Use hypnosis. In a calm, focused state, we work with self-critical patterns and reconnect with your strengths.

  3. Practise new ways of relating to yourself. You try a kinder way of talking to yourself, and of setting boundaries with others.

  4. Make a plan that fits you. We review progress together, at your pace.

I can't promise a particular result, because everyone responds differently. What I can offer is a calm, structured space and tools to work with.

What working together
looks like

We start with a free discovery call, where we talk about what's been happening and whether working together feels right. Sessions then take place online by private video call, usually weekly at the start. Where it helps, you'll be invited to practise simple exercises between sessions.

Is hypnotherapy right for low self-esteem?

Hypnotherapy works alongside medical care, not instead of it. If you often feel very low or hopeless, or have thoughts of harming yourself, please speak to your GP.

If you're in crisis or worried about your safety, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call Samaritans free on 116 123, day or night. In an emergency, call 999.

Online sessions in English and Polish

I work in both English and Polish, so you can talk about what you're feeling in the language that feels most natural. All sessions are online, so you can join from a quiet room at home.

Questions about hypnotherapy for low self-esteem

Is low self-esteem the same as a lack of confidence?

They're linked. Confidence is often about specific situations, while self-esteem is how you feel about yourself overall. We can work with both.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on what you're working with and what you'd like to change, so there isn't one number that fits everyone. We review progress together as we go, and nothing is rushed.

Do I have to talk about my past?

You decide how much you share. We focus on what helps you move forward.

Can hypnotherapy help with self-esteem?

Many people find hypnosis deeply relaxing, and CBH gives you practical tools to work with self-critical patterns. I can't promise a specific outcome, because everyone responds differently.
